An entomology guide created by linking Hito Steyerl’s theory of impoverished images with human-centered perceptions of ecosystems. Insects are classified into seven levels based on likability, accompanied by subjective descriptions from a human perspective, and assigned a corresponding preference rating. Higher levels within the classification groups correspond to higher graphic resolution.
The project was conducted by a team of four, with responsibilities including cover design, writing the foreword, and editing the foreword and chapter-opening pages. Graphic production and interior design were carried out collaboratively.
